The Vestavia Hills Police Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is comprised of Directors who are all volunteers AND residents of Vestavia Hills, and are passionate in their support of the Vestavia Hills Police Department in their continued effort to keep Vestavia Hills the “safest city of our size” in the State of Alabama. 

As a member of the Foundation, we want to assure you that we work diligently to ensure that our officers are provided with the tools needed to do their job beyond what is provided by the annual City budget. With support on the extras that we can provide, it makes it easier for the men and women of the VHPD to focus on the job of keeping our community safe. Remember our law enforcement officers are highly trained, often criticized, and underpaid professionals that put their lives at risk every day of the year to protect our entire community. They provide an extraordinary public service every day! 

Our Foundation is committed to promoting a positive working relationship between our residents of Vestavia Hills and our Police Department.  We can only do that by continued involvement and donations from individuals and businesses in our community who understand the high value in keeping Vestavia Hills a great place to live, work and play by providing the non-budgeted equipment, training, technology, and programs that our Police Department needs to protect and serve our entire community.
